What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initial receipt and review of non-formulary or prior authorization requests
- Entering online approvals or denials of requests within established policies
- Developing and administering programs to enhance drug utilization and cost-saving practices
- Identifying and reporting operational issues and resource needs
- Assisting in resolving member prescription claim and pharmacy services access issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Associate degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
