      Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 198-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the Pioneer Valley for over 125 years. We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care.

      Our laboratory team has an exciting opportunity for a Phlebotomist who believes in our Lab's Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include performing blood collection procedures on inpatients, outpatients, and home care patients of all ages, including newborns and children.

      Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in the use of computers; reliable transportation; two years of hospital phlebotomy experience including registering patients, or completion of phlebotomy training at an approved school

      Applicants must have:

      • A passion for caring about a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab.
      • A drive to learn new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu.
      • A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
      • The ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
