      Job summary

      Asplands's medical centre are looking for a experienced phlebotomist to join our already well established nursing team for 1 day a week for 6 hours.

      Main duties of the job

      you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing. Key duties include preparing patients for blood draws, ensuring proper labelling and handling of samples, maintaining accurate records, and following infection control and safety procedures. The role requires excellent patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a healthcare team. Administrative support tasks may also be required, depending on practice needs.

      About us

      At Aspland's we have a well established team of practice nurses, specialist nurses, health care assistants, nurse associates, a paramedic and a phlebotomist. we are looking to expand our team and welcome a experienced phlebotomist to help manage the ever expanding work load of diagnosit test needing to be carried out.
