Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection confidently and according to procedures

Verify patient demographic details and secure post-venipuncture signatures to confirm correct labeling

Maintain required records and documentation accurately

Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Proficient in phlebotomy, including pediatric and geriatric collections

Flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed

Adherence to company policies, including dress code and health/safety guidelines

Strong decision-making skills using established procedures

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)

Willingness to travel to multiple locations and adapt to short-notice assignments

Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume environments

Demonstrated customer focus and effective communication with peers, supervisors, and patients

Must be adaptable and open to business change initiatives

Training location may vary depending on trainer availability

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Preferred: Medical assistant or paramedic training

Preferred: Phlebotomy certification (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

Customer service experience in retail or service industry preferred

Data entry/keyboard experience

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, either as part of their routine health care or for critical health decisions. The PSR II is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing them for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring trust and comfort while performing blood draws safely and accurately. The PSR II will demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
