      Job Description

      Join a dynamic team as a Phlebotomist where you will provide exceptional customer service and perform skilled specimen collections. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced IOP office environment. The position may start as temporary with the potential to become permanent.

      Responsibilities

      • Provide exceptional customer service and be the face of the company.
      • Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
      • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and more.
      • Accurately enter patient information into the system in a timely manner.
      • Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
      • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
      • Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
      • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
      • Travel to additional sites when required.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques.
      • Strong customer service skills.
      • Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
      • Experience in specimen collection and processing.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Good computer skills.
      • Ability to handle a high volume of patients professionally.

      Work Environment

      The work environment is within an IOP account, dealing with 20-25 patients per day. Mornings are particularly busy, while afternoons are less hectic. The role requires working on-site Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 12pm, and Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 3pm. As part of a large, well-known diagnostic company, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and professional setting.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
