- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection duties with confidence and precision.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily responsibilities under supervisor direction.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established protocols.
- Maintain proper documentation and uphold data confidentiality.
- Provide excellent customer service and foster a trusting environment for patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work setting.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and a positive image to patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Adhere to company procedures and compliance guidelines.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Flexible availability, including potential weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent - REQUIRED
- Medical assistant or paramedic training - Preferred
- Phlebotomy Certification - REQUIRED in California
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience - REQUIRED
- 1+ years of phlebotomy experience - Preferred
- Customer service experience in a retail or service setting - Preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer use - Required
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: California (CPT License Required)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours/Week: 40
Duration: 5 months, possibility of extension
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, providing a welcoming and professional environment for patients. This role involves collecting quality blood specimens for laboratory testing and ensuring an excellent patient experience through skilled phlebotomy and clear communication.
