Job Description

- Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (1st Shift)
- Pay Range: $16.00 – $19.00/hour (based on experience)
- Location: Onsite – 2551 Wacker Rd, Savanna, IL 61074
- Reports To: Production Supervisor
- Load parts onto the phosphating line and monitor the coating process
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper coating and production flow
- Mix and add phosphates, cleaners, and sealants to maintain correct chemical levels
- Inspect coated parts for thickness, consistency, and adhesion quality
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance on equipment, tanks, and spray systems
- Maintain clear records of production, chemical use, maintenance, and inspections
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Support your team with other duties as needed
- Strong attention to detail and process accuracy
- Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working independently and staying focused
- Clear communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Basic computer proficiency and documentation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Reliable work history with minimal employment gaps
- Strong attendance and punctuality — essential for production success
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Required to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending and stooping required.
- Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments.
