Job Description

- To enhance photography skills by working with a large number of settings and participants
- To gain experience in working with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment
- Provides photographic support to BPRW programming staff
- Interacts with contractors and vendors, works with department marketing to advertise programs and attends meetings as needed
- Offers assistance to other recreation activities as needed (events, parks, waterfront, etc.)
- Ability to actively support City diversity, equity, and cultural competency efforts within stated job responsibilities and work effectively across diverse cultures and constituencies.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as evidenced by ongoing trainings and professional development.
The Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront Department (BPRW) is currently seeking a motivated intern looking to enhance their photography skills by working with a variety of summer camps and programs. This intern will work with staff and participants to capture visual record of summer activities that accurately reflect the BPRW Recreation Story.
