      The Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront Department (BPRW) is currently seeking a motivated intern looking to enhance their photography skills by working with a variety of summer camps and programs. This intern will work with staff and participants to capture visual record of summer activities that accurately reflect the BPRW Recreation Story.

      Learning objectives
      • To enhance photography skills by working with a large number of settings and participants
      • To gain experience in working with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment

      Union Affiliation: Non-Union
      Pay Grade: $19.15 Hourly
      Remote Tier 1: Zero (0) days remote/week
      • Provides photographic support to BPRW programming staff
      • Interacts with contractors and vendors, works with department marketing to advertise programs and attends meetings as needed
      • Offers assistance to other recreation activities as needed (events, parks, waterfront, etc.)
      • Ability to actively support City diversity, equity, and cultural competency efforts within stated job responsibilities and work effectively across diverse cultures and constituencies.
      • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as evidenced by ongoing trainings and professional development.
