  Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career in an acute care/inpatient rehabilitation environment? Our dynamic therapy team at Christian Hospital is seeking a patient-centered physical activity tech to assist with administrative, patient care and general maintenance tasks.

  • PRN (flexible/as needed)
  • 1-2 Saturdays a month

  Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

  The Speech Pathology Department at Christian Hospital is located on the second floor of CH . Services are provided to adults with deficits in speech, language, voice, dysphagia and cognition.

  Role Purpose

  Provides routine, non skilled patient treatments as prescribed by the physician and directed by the licensed therapist or therapist assistant. Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, forms and organizing the clinical environment for safe and effective patient care.

  Responsibilities

  Assists the therapist by performing non-skilled activities that are critical to a patient's treatment.

  Transports patients safely and in a timely fashion.

  Inputs rehab charges, prepares charts, charge sheets and other documentation required for treatment, and creates, complies, maintains and organizes patient handouts and other departmental reports.
