3 Year BA or BS degree required preferably in interior design, graphic design, industrial design, and/or architecture an/or current knowledge of industry trends in retail store design
2 Years portfolio Illustrating the development of applied strategic retail concepts
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Sketch Up and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated hands-on skill in 2D and 3D modeling and prototyping and working knowledge of color and design principles
Understanding of underlying interactive technologies such as web and mobile

Key Responsibilities
• Works cross-functionally to manage and organize work processes and ensure most efficient work flow
• Works closely with other functions within Customer Experience Design, as well as with Merchandising Execution, Merchandising, Marketing, Market and Consumer Insights, and external vendors in order to develop effective design intent and realize final results.
• Acts as a liaison to development partnerships, the Physical Experience Designer ensures coherence between what is conceived and what is executed
• You should be able to articulate clear design intents and help produce experiences that are desirable, viable and feasible.
• Will need to be sympathetic to, and in harmony with, digital and human experience designs to provide both customers and associates with the fully appointed stage upon which seamless services can be experienced.
• Assists in the development and delivery of the physical components of customer experiences
• Insures the deployment of customer centric design methodologies
• Engage in development of new strategies that enhance customer experience online and in stores.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Merchandising Execution Store Environment to take ideas from concept to completion.
• Take insights and strategy and apply it to design projects to create omnichannel experiences, using human centric design methodologies.
• Leverage free form sketching, adobe creative suite and sketch-up to visualize experiences in 3D.
• Document the final concept and participate in the development of design guidelines that are used by the store planning and visual merchandising teams.Required Education
