Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients’ physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans to meet specific patient goals, including frequency and type of interventions.
- Implement and Monitor Treatment: Oversee therapy sessions, monitor patient progress, and adjust plans as needed.
- Patient Education: Provide guidance to patients and their families on treatment goals, adaptive equipment, and self-management strategies.
- Discharge Planning: Assist patients with seamless transitions post-therapy, offering expert recommendations for ongoing recovery.
You Have:
- Maine State Physical Therapy Licensure: A valid Maine State license to practice as a Physical Therapist is required.
- Commitment to Excellence: A passion for ongoing learning, adaptability to new practices, and the drive to grow both professionally and personally within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to connect with patients, families, and team members, ensuring clarity and compassion in every interaction.
