- Provide physical therapy services as prescribed by consumer’s physician for adults and adolescents with head injuries, spinal cord injuries, chronic pain, general orthopedic rehabilitation needs, and/or neurological behavioral issues as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Physical Therapy includes evaluations, recommendations for purchasing equipment in preparation for patient discharge, creating treatment plans, completing progress reports, and daily documentation. Coordinate external equipment as needed.
- Develop home exercise programs (restorative program) for long term patients, and train restorative aides.
- Perform physical therapy interventions with the following equipment: SoloStep, Rifton Walker, Lite Gait, Aquatic Therapy, Pressure Map System for Seating.
- Familiarity with all departmental equipment, and ability to implement equipment according to consumer goals/needs.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree from an accredited university or institution offering physical therapy curriculum.
- Licensure by examination to practice as a physical therapist.
- Member of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred.
- Two years’ work experience with Adult Neurologically Disabled/TBI population preferred.

16 hours per week (two 8-hour shifts)
Standard hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
