      Additional Information About the Role

      St. Louis Children's Hospital has a full-time Physical Therapist opportunity to work in an inpatient setting. Cases include - neuro, general medicine, heme/onc. PICU, and cardiopulmonary. Acute pediatric therapy experience is preferred.

      • Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4pm; occasional weekend and holiday rotation
      • $2500 Sign-on Bonus
      • $1000 CEU budget for each therapist

      Role Purpose

      Provides skilled physical therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.

      Responsibilities

    • Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies.
    • Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
    • Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
    • Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
    • Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
