      Responsibilities

      Seeking a full time Physical Therapist with a passion for treating patients with Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder (SCI/D) to join a multidisciplinary team in the outpatient setting. This role supports a program of SCI/D care focusing on return to the highest level of independence and community reintegration. Patients are enrolled in a continuum of outpatients services including a comprehensive day treatment program and more traditional outpatient intervention designed to address diagnosis specific functional needs. The successful candidate will have strong experience treating the SCI/D population.

      • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
      • Timely and accurate documentation
      • Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
      • Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
      • Promoting continuous quality improvement
      • Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

      Qualifications

      • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
