- Evaluate the patient's level of functioning and develop an individualized treatment plan aligned with patient and family goals.
- Participates in discharge planning including, patient and family education, and recommendation of DME, community mobility as able.
- IPR- Inpatient rehabilitation Hospital- minimum of 2 weekend days per month are required/ 24 shifts per year minimum.
- Acute or IPR experience preferred
- Previous experience with the adult Neuro population
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required..

Must be available for two weekend day shifts a month
PRN Rate: $60 /hr
Looking for PRN physical therapist to work as part of the rehab team in our Outpatient Day Neuro Program. This is a PRN position at the Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation in Lakeway, Texas. This program serves the Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury population on an outpatient basis working with TBI, NTBI, stroke, and SCI patients. Therapists are responsible for patient initial evaluations including goals and plan of care, treatment progressions, weekly status notes, and discharge assessments. Duties to also include participation in team conferences, family conferences, education groups, and other duties as assigned. The PT will work closely with SLP, OT, and RT to provide a neurologically focused treatment. Neurological experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional and patient-centered treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community, vocational or academic activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery. Specific Duties:
