      Physical Therapist, PT - Full Time

      Aventura at the Bay located in St. Petersburg is seeking a Physical Therapist in our in-house subacute rehabilitation unit, you will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized rehabilitation plans, ensuring each patient achieves optimal recovery and functionality.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patient needs and establish treatment goals.
      • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and patient progress.
      • Utilize therapeutic modalities, exercises, and manual therapy techniques to enhance recovery.
      • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
      • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and strategies for continued progress post-discharge.
      • Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies.
      • Collaborate with nursing staff, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
      • Stay current with developments in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

      Qualifications:

      • Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida.
      • Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
      • Previous experience in subacute or rehabilitation settings preferred.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
