What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assign, set up, and manage Peer to Peer (P2P) reviews for Physician Advisors (PA)
- Collaborate with Utilization Review teams and PA’s on denial and P2P strategies
- Manage multiple calendars and online appointment invites
- Monitor status review determinations and update information in UR or Shared Services platforms
- Participate in meetings with Revenue management, Shared Services, and Utilization Review
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate
- Minimum of 2–3 years of UR Coordinator, SSC, and/or Patient Registration experience preferred
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, databases & internet queries
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, employees, associates, and external parties
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with health plan “Payer” portals
- College degree in a related field
- Knowledge of commercial payer denial, authorization strategies/practices, and contractual agreements
