What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Treat both pediatric and adult patient populations in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints, and conduct preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays
- Collaborate with a supportive team including Rad Techs and trained Medical Assistants
- Ensure patient satisfaction and quality measures to contribute to bonus eligibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
- Experience in treating both pediatric and adult patient populations
- Proficiency in performing minor procedures and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays
- For Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification required
- For Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate certification (AANC or AANP) required
