      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

      - Reviewing post-service claims for medical necessity
      - Collaborating with a team of medical professionals
      - Conducting individual case reviews for various health plan and insurance products
      - Communicating with medical directors regarding decisions and interpretations
      - Participating in team meetings and organizational committees

      What is Required (Qualifications):

      - Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license
      - Board-certified by NCCPA
      - 8+ years of post-graduate clinical experience
      - 2+ years of hospital-based medicine experience
      - Proficiency with managed care and billing
      - Access to high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

      - 10+ years of post-graduate clinical practice experience
      - 2+ years of Quality Management experience
      - Experience with claims coding and review
      - Knowledge of managed care principles and evidence-based clinical criteria
      - Familiarity with current medical issues and practices
