Minimum of 1 year experience prior to completing a Nurse Practitioner program

Current Louisiana RN license

Registered Nurse Practitioner in Louisiana

Deliver direct patient care, perform medical procedures and write documentation in the medical record

Assist physicians with exams and procedures

Interpret laboratory, respiratory, and radiology data
-
Develop and update individualized care plans based on patient history and evolving needs
-
Collaborate in multidisciplinary care planning and discharge planning
-
Educate patients and families, addressing specific learning needs
-
Resolve and manage patient care concerns utilizing internal and external resources
-
Act as a clinical resource and support professional development of nursing staff
-
Perform all other duties as assigned

What You Will Do:
Provide direct patient care under physician direction, following established nursing protocols. Support all aspects of care from initial assessments to collaboration and education.
