- Administer and reconcile physician and APP compensation in accordance with employment agreements, productivity models, and incentive structures.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliation reports including base salary, wRVU performance, stipends, and value-based compensation components.
- Model and analyze new or revised compensation plans, including support for strategic initiatives, clinic expansions, and new provider onboarding.
- Support the annual budgeting process by projecting provider compensation and benefits spend with RWHS Finance.
- Generate data dashboards and analytics for RWPC leadership to track trends in provider productivity, compensation, and staffing models.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities related to compensation set-up, draw establishment, and payment transitions.
- Research and respond to provider and leadership inquiries related to compensation formulas, calculations, and discrepancies.
- Analyze APP-specific compensation models and ensure consistent methodology and transparency across clinical roles.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to RWPC leadership in financial conversations related to provider performance, cost efficiency, and resource alignment.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis proficiency; ability to design complex models and reports.
- Understanding of provider compensation structures including wRVU-based, salary, bonus, stipend, and value-based models.
- Knowledge of federal regulations including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and FMV standards.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems from a financial interface perspective.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial details to non-financial audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
- 3–5 years of healthcare experience with a strong focus on provider and APP compensation, financial analysis, or benefits administration.

The Physician Compensation & Benefits Analyst plays a key role in ensuring transparent, accurate, and compliant compensation for physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) within Regional West Physicians Clinic. This position is responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of provider compensation programs that align with contract terms, Fair Market Value (FMV), productivity expectations, and strategic objectives. Working collaboratively with RWHS Finance, RWPC leadership, and Legal, this role enables proactive decision-making through robust data analytics, reporting, and financial modeling. The position is critical in supporting the recruitment, engagement, and retention of high-quality clinical talent through fair and competitive compensation practices.
