We will provide a personal level of healthcare and addiction treatment that addresses the mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of everyone we touch. SSTAR is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which affords our employees eligibility to apply for one of our three Loan Repayment Programs, including the HRSA LRP.

      The Physician provides primary care to SSTAR’s health center patients.

      Duties & Responsibilities

      • Provides primary health care in an FQHC setting caring for an underserved population.
      • Participates in inpatient detox rounds as required.
      • Participates in health professional mentoring.
      • Available to front office and nursing staff regarding telephone triage, patient inquiries, etc.
      • Assists in the efficient operation of specialty clinics as needed.
      • Attends CME and in-service training sessions as approved by the Medical Director.
      • Meets with the Medical Director to review Health Center policies and reports on Health Center operations.
      • Participates in off-campus clinics as assigned.
      • Participates in the on-call rotation amongst other providers.
      • Other duties as required.
