      Position Summary:

      The Physician Liaison will serve as the primary point of contact between our medical facility and the local physician community. This role will involve building and nurturing relationships with referring physicians, ensuring a smooth referral process, and promoting our services to drive patient referrals and enhance the reputation of our institution.

      Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local physicians, medical practices, and healthcare providers to facilitate referrals and collaborative care.
      • Coordinate the referral process, ensuring a seamless experience for referring physicians and their patients, from initial contact to follow-up.
      • Provide information, materials, and presentations to referring physicians to educate them about our services, specialists, and the latest advancements in healthcare.
      • Act as a liaison between referring physicians and our organization, collecting feedback and addressing concerns to improve the referral process and patient care.
      • Develop and execute strategies to promote our medical services, programs, and facilities, and identify opportunities for collaboration and mutual benefit.
      • Track referral data and performance metrics and use data-driven insights to enhance relationships and optimize the referral process.
      • Ensure all interactions and communications with referring physicians follow legal and ethical guidelines.

      Qualifications


      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
      • Five (5) years of clinical/healthcare experience is required.
      • Urology or surgical experience preferred but not essential.

      Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:

      • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare processes, and referral procedures.
      • Current knowledge of acceptable and appropriate clinical practice, quality assurance, and patient management and care.
      • Understanding of healthcare marketing and promotional strategies.
      • Competency in relationship management and negotiation.
      • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
      • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and data analysis tools.
      • Ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.
      • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective healthcare team member.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and bring forth ideas.
      • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.

      • Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.

      Physical Requirements for the Job:

      • Regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods.
      • Involves standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting.
      • Requires full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
      • May be required to help to transfer the patient.
      • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
