What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Carry out all duties outlined in the Operations Manual with strict adherence to procedures
- Report directly to the Chief Pilot and assume command of the aircraft, crew, and passengers
- Ensure the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments
- Maintain accurate records in the aircraft's Flight and Maintenance Log
- Oversee the loading and securing of cargo, ensuring compliance with weight and balance considerations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Meet the minimum qualifications as specified in Federal Aviation Regulations Part 135.243 and 135.297
- Hold at least a Commercial Pilot certificate with appropriate category and class ratings and an Instrument rating
- Have at least 1,200 hours of flight time as a pilot, including specific flight hour requirements
- Possess a valid aviation medical certificate issued by an authorized aviation medical examiner
- Current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record that meets insurance requirements
