What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle litigated cases involving claim disputes
- Work in partnership with defense counsel to resolve litigation
- Obtain and maintain appropriate adjuster licenses and continuing education credits
- Skillfully handle claims in multiple venues
- Conduct thorough investigation, analysis, evaluation, and negotiation of claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of experience in claims handling
- Technical depth around Michigan PIP and litigation
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency using a paperless Claims System
