What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain and maintain appropriate adjuster licenses
- Handle claims in multiple venues
- Investigate, analyze, evaluate, and negotiate disputed claims
- Adjust reserves based on new information
- Develop strategies for discovery, trial, and settlement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of experience
- Technical knowledge of Michigan PIP and litigation
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in using a paperless Claims System
- Experience in insurance claims or litigation
