      Position: Pipefitter - Journeyperson and Registered Apprentices

      Project Type: Industrial / Cargill Canola Processing Plant

      Project Location: Regina

      Shift: Day

      Schedule: 10 Days on 4 Days off - 10 Hours Per Day

      Accommodations: LOA - $160 Per Day Worked - Must be over 100KM Radius

      Travel Details: Daily Travel Allowance $30 Per Day Worked - Only for those 55KM up to 100KM Radius

      Jardeg is recruiting for Pipefitters Foreperson/Journeyperson/Apprentice for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd. to build the new Cargill Canola Processing Plant in Regina, SK. Expected Start Date: Mid January - February 2024

      As a Journeyperson Pipefitter you will:

      • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements;
      • Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machine;
      • Select type and size of pipe required;
      • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools;
      • Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system;
      • HDPE Fusion experience NPS 4”-20” (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4”-24”Install supports, valves, piping and control systems;
      • Test system for leaks using testing equipment;
      • Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system;
      • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system;
      • Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment.

      Requirements:

      • CSTS 2020 or SCOT
      • WHMIS 2015
      • Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)
      • Confined Space (OSSA Preferred)
      • Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred)
      • Journeyperson Certificate or be a registered Apprentice
      • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada,
      • Pre employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required
