      IRC224260 – PIPELINE & PIPING SUPERINTENDANT At Eni, we are looking for a Pipeline & Piping Superintendant within ZFOD in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for supervising, coordinating and controlling contractors’ construction activities on site related with Pipeline & piping activities, ensuring that the work is performed according to project Spec., Budget, schedule and respecting all the relevant QC standards & HSE procedures & regulations. As a member of the construction & commissioning division at ZFOD you will be responsible for: · Timeliness and accuracy of construction control information provided, including executed work compliance with project technical specifications, work progress certifications · Performing pipelines & piping construction site inspections · Promptly alerting the project team in case of construction major problem · Dealing with contractor to solve minor problems and assure that construction completion is according to project schedule, specification and procedures · Preparing pipeline & piping construction daily, weekly & monthly reports · Closing out report preparation · Material & Equipment Control · Working progress certifications · Coordinating the activities between the different subcontractors in the site. · Performing pipelines & piping Design Documents reviews and implement follow up · Pipelines & piping planning and monitoring (schedule, wbs, cost and compliance of work to project specifications) · Designing, constructability reviews and contractors engineering, construction and pre-commissioning plan review · Managing engineering team and site supervisors · Reviewing and recommending approval/rejection of any requests for variation or claims submitted by contractors. · Providing overall technical assistance and commissioning activities · Supporting the Project Manager in facilities handover to production preparation · execution · Participating in the definition of the entrepreneur's daily cards of work and to get the necessary authorizations (permitted work) for the setting up of work so definite · Assuring the setting up of the definite measures of safety in the permit of work and to look after the strict respect of these safety measures · Verifying and to control the application of the work procedures contained in the technical specifications of the projects · Controlling and to assure a level of quality and safety being sufficient during the progress of works · In link with the engineer of project, to approve the non conformities and minor derogations clean to the works of installation · Verifying and to approving the daily report of the entrepreneur's works. To write and to transmit to the department the report of works for a daily follow-up of the activity · Ensuring that contractor will perform all the Inspection Test Report (ITR defined in the Project Quality Control Plan This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements: · Degree or diploma in an engineering/technical discipline · oil& Gas industry experience. · Pipelines & piping construction work experience · Commissioning –Start up (Generic) · Quality &Safety: audit & certification activities, operational security, contractors specifications, qualifications & auditing · Environment : waste management · Specialists Knowledge : engineering knowledge in specialist activities · Compliances : local/national & international standard & codes · Construction & Installations : site construction, integration testing, inspection, control& testing techniques · Project management: close-out report preparations. · Health & Radiation protections: health surveillance management Location: Basra, Iraq Contract type: Rotation 28/28 At Eni we believe in enterprising people, capable of making a difference and making their contribution with passion and innovation, to respond to the global challenges of the energy transition.
