Position: Pipeline Pilot Developer
Location: Collegeville, PA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description :
Technical/Functional Skills
• Programming: strong Pilot Script, JAVA, .NET, Python.
• Quality System: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management, Validation and Qualification, Administration of regulated applications, Change Management (data and configuration), System and Network Security, Disaster Recovery.
• Documentation: SDLC Documentation, Installation Instructions, Change Requests, Test Protocols and Training Materials.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and laboratory operations and workflows.
• Knowledge of Lab instrument interfaces and Extensive experience in developing Pipeline Pilot protocols for Instrument Interfacing and Data Analytics
• Experience or training in Biovia Pipeline Pilot, Biovia ELN, Biovia Foundation HUB preferred
• Experience of driver configuration and testing exposure to networks and communication protocols such as RS232, LACE build and configuration
• Experience in Interfacing Lab Instruments to ELN/LIMS Systems and Chromatography Data Systems (CDS).
• Experience in any LIMS/ELN system (SampleManager, Labware, Biovia ELN, Starlims, Labvantage etc)
• Requires strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment and the ability to work effectively with Business Analysts, Software Developers, and customers.
• Very good oral and written communication skills.
• Good Business Analysis skills in understanding complex Lab informatics workflows and identifying requirements

Roles & Responsibilities
• This role will include supporting the development of protocols to extract data from instruments, data analysis
• Driver configuration and testing exposure to networks and communication protocols.
• Support interfaces with external applications.
• Integrate instruments with LIMS, ELN and CDS
• Develop and maintain a high level of Biovia products knowledge expertise, including new product development, revisions and releases.
