      Job Summary

      The purpose of this position is to oversee application of capacity to demand and inventory levels for near-term planning and long-term projections through analysis and prioritization of forecasts, raw materials, wip and finished goods production to meet customer requirements. The position involves forecast production planning, informed inventory replenishment, efficient equipment scheduling and working cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, maintenance and fellow facilities.

      Essential Functions

      • Champion and participate in all company Safety and Contiuous Improvement programs.
      • Create efficient, accurate equipment schedules for 24/7 manufacturing.
      • Participate in raw materials inventory replenishment planning and ordering.
      • Monitor Customer demand and inventory levels, initiate resupply and production orders.
      • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Maintenance and fellow facilities
      • Develop and maintain Forecast Production Plans for analysis and reporting of demand compared with available capacity and actual production outcomes.
      • Provide directional guidance on staffing requirements and equipment priorities.
      • Coordinate real-time information with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Wharehouse to ensure on-time and complete shipment of customer orders.
      • Cultivate proficient use of Oracle, BPCS, Transition Works, Logility, Excell, Access, Query writing and great business written and spoken communication skills.
      • Ensure availability of materials necessary to produce scheduled work.
      • Participate in SQF, Housekeeping and Food Safety Programs. Provide plant housekeeping support.
      • Other duties as assigned

      Skills/Knowledge

      Proficient in basic Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Access or Query writing a plus.

      Attention to detail with analytic and critical thinking skills.

      Fluid communication, listening, written and verbal abilities in interpersonal and group exchanges.

      Job Qualifications

      Required

      • Secondary Education or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s degree a plus.

      Preferred

      • In-depth knowledge of Excel, Query composition, and MRP concepts.
      • At least 3 years prior experience in Manufacturing. Packaging/Foodservice background helpful.

      Environment

      Manufacturing environment. Sitting (50%), moderate walking (30%) and standing (20%). Required safety equipment for manufacturing areas: Hair/beard net, safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection.
