      As a Planner - Sales Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our sales processes, ensuring smooth coordination between various departments, and contributing to the overall success of our sales team. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, and implement strategies that drive sales growth. This position requires a keen analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Dealer Performance Incentive Program : Nissan’s dealer performance program is designed to improve Dealers’ performance as well as the achievement of Nissan’s objectives. The Planner will be working on the appraisal of the performance at the end of each month and quarter, and will be computing and processing the payout to Dealer. The Planner will also be responsible for the administration of any exception request. 25%

      • Weekly Allocation of Vehicles to Dealers: the Sales team is allocating (i.e. wholesale) vehicles to Dealers on a weekly basis, based on their historical performance. The Planner will be working on the allocation strategy of vehicles, by Dealer, to make sure that the right car goes to the right place in the right time. 25%

      • Sales Reporting & Deck Preparation: a variety of reports and decks are required to support the weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings of the Sales Operations team. The Planner will be working with the rest of the department to create such reports and decks. It includes Weekly Sales Meeting (RGM call), Traffic & Writes report, Launch calls, PRM decks, etc. 20%

      • Field Bonus Program Administration: The Sales team is responsible for the administration of the Field Bonus Program, which is incenting Field teams on a quarterly basis, to ensure Nissan is reaching its objectives in Canada. The Planner will be working with the involved parties to create the programs on quarterly basis, appraise the performance, present to the Executive team and process the payments. 20%

      • Other: the Planner will be supporting the team on other ad-hoc requests as needed. 10%

      Minimum Requirements

      Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Commercial Relationships or a related field.

      Past Work Experience:

      Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably within the automotive industry (OEM or retail) in sales operations or demand planning.

      Language: English – Expert

      Computer Skills: Expert Excel skills. Advanced IT knowledge ( Tableau , VBA, etc.) asset.
