What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze demographic and spatial data to support school district planning and community development projects
- Develop strategies and recommendations based on data analysis
- Lead project teams and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Deliver engaging presentations to clients, colleagues, and community stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability in reports and conduct thorough data validation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Three (3) or more years of experience in urban planning or related fields
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in urban planning, geography, demography, or a related field
- Proficiency in school district student forecasting
- Exceptional soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and leadership
- Public speaking proficiency
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with CAD and GIS software
- Knowledge of housing development research, school rezone planning, or enrollment forecasting
- Passion for creating positive change in public schools and communities
