- Lead and contribute to strategic enterprise planning, target setting, and monitoring/reporting of company goals.
- Identify and resolve complex problems independently by proactive identification of market opportunities and trends to support Executives in identifying outliers and enabling actionable insights.
- Providing knowledge, insight, and enterprise perspective via financial analysis that facilitates operational and strategic decision making.
- Collaborate across P&A, Financial Operations, and the Enterprise to develop ad hoc and routine analysis to enable informed decision-making, including analysis of results, proactive identification of trends, impact analysis on changes affecting results trends.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner for leadership and business areas and offer insights on Enterprise financial and growth results and trends.
- Prepare accurate and relevant written financial analysis in a timely manner, communicating complex subject matter to the intended audience in a simplified manner that meaningfully informs decisions.
- Represent P&A on projects and initiatives across the Enterprise.
- Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics or a related field is preferred
- Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work with all levels of leadership
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to dig deep into trends, learn business tools, and actively seek means to improve processes and controls
- Broad business and financial acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including utilization of advanced formulas and report automation techniques
- Experience with business intelligence data systems, financial/statistical resources, and analytical software is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in the following critical skills: Business Acumen, Collaboration & Communication, Critical Thinking, Intellectual Curiosity, Technical Skills including Microsoft products and Storytelling.
- Potential starting salary range: $53,901.25 - $99,540.63
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary

This position will have a 24-month incumbency period for a lateral move and a 12-month incumbency period for a promotional opportunity (beginning on the effective date of the position) which must be met before the employee can post for any other State Farm position. The incumbency period does not affect the at-will relationship between State Farm and the employee and does not create an employment contract, nor contractual rights.
