Job Description

- Work closely with our Warehouse Manager and Shift Managers to pro-actively assess recruitment needs in line with volume demands and depot efficiency targets
- Maintain our resource plan, including holiday management, overtime planning, resource movement across shifts, and seasonal planning
- Line manage our Planning Assistant colleague, supporting their professional development
- Assist Shift Managers in identifying potential planning risks and co-ordinate with the relevant colleagues to make sure plans are aligned
- Analyse data to find opportunities to continuously improve depot performance and share this with senior leaders
- Support our Warehouse Manager with budget and target planning
- Build and maintain positive relationships with third-party agencies
- Experience in a planning role
- Experience working in a logistics environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse large data sets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively

Planning Co-ordinator
£31,000 to £35,000 plus great benefits
Day Shift (7am – 3:30pm), 5 days over 7
Castlewood, DE55 2JXWe’re looking for a Planning Co-ordinator to join the team at our Castlewood depot. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day planning activities, co-ordinating colleagues, resource, and equipment needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and making sure all shifts are equipped to perform effectively.
