      This position is accountable for ensuring that products produced at the facility meet or exceed our internal and external customers’ quality standards. Ensuring customers’ quality standards may involve trouble-shooting formula/manufacturing issues, non-conformance investigation and corrective action, routine laboratory maintenance, including organization and cleaning of work areas, checking for expired raw materials and disposal of products.

      Additional Information:

      Days 8:00am - 5:00pm (40hrs/week)

      This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
      • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Have at least one (1) year experience working as a Plant Chemist.
      • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility

      Responsibilities

      • Quality testing of incoming raw materials, components, in process batches, and finished products against established specifications.
      • Entering test results into Electronic Bench Records (EBR).
      • Placing non-conforming material on hold as needed.
      • Suggest and detail proposed changes in site’s quality control operations to the QC Manager.
      • Conduct audits on finished goods in the warehouse as needed.
      • Assist production with required product specifications.
      • Support day-to-day Manufacturing and Filling requirements.
      • Oversee rework initiatives.
      • Adjust non-conforming batches into specification.
      • Testing and analysis of certain environmental related issues.
      • Statistical analysis of data to determine specification center, range, etc.
      • Make lab scale batches for various problem solving.
      • Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
      • Conduct production studies to determine appropriate specifications
      • Trouble shoot and resolve formula-related problems and assist Manufacturing and Filling with problems of a technical nature.
      • Update batch cards in-order to improve quality metrics (OTMIS and DPTO)
      • Assist in maintaining ISO 9001- 2015 registration by adhering to quality procedures and standards.
      • Investigate, test and perform root cause analysis for non-conformances
      • Use Kepner Trego, 5-Why, Fishbone for ARC investigations
      • Maintain safe work environment.

      • Making fact/data-based decisions, particularly during the problem-solving process.
