In addition to career growth, this position offers a generous compensation package, superb benefits, and the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic business partner for plant leadership, leveraging your business acumen and financial expertise to drive data-driven decisions and operational success.Collaborate with plant management to develop forecasting models, annual operating plans , and monthly financial projections .Conduct thorough financial, sales, and operational analyses to identify gaps and recommend improvements while addressing performance metrics.Partner with various teams to participate in continuous improvement initiatives and validate cost-saving achievements.Take ownership of monthly financial close processes, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, accounts receivable, inventory control, and fixed asset accounting.Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to mitigate financial risk, protect company assets, and ensure regulatory compliance.Present monthly financial reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics to executive leadership in a clear and concise manner.Collaborate with the plant management team to evaluate capital projects by preparing ROI, net present value, and payback period analyses.Key QualificationsEducational Background:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees (such as an MBA) and/or certifications (CPA, CMA) are preferred.Experience:A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controller roles within a manufacturing environment is required.A strong background in cost accounting and supporting plant operations is highly desired.Experience in lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.Technical Skills:Expertise in month-end close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Advanced proficiency in Excel is required; familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools is highly valued.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess opportunities, address challenges, and add value across the organization.Interpersonal Skills:Strong relationship-building, communication, and project management abilities.A proven ability to partner across departments, especially with operations and plant employees, to achieve business goals.Why Join This Team?Our client values their employees and recognizes that their team plays an essential role in their success.
