      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct plant leaf sampling and DNA extraction for genetic analysis
      - Perform PCR, qPCR, and ddPCR procedures as part of the research team
      - Maintain accurate documentation in lab notebooks and computer files
      - Collaborate with team members on specific tasks and projects
      - Follow safety protocols while working in the greenhouse and with lab equipment

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be a University of Wisconsin student
      - Basic knowledge of biology and understanding of DNA
      - General lab bench experience, particularly with micro-pipetting
      - Strong attention to detail
      - Experience with plants is helpful, but training will be provided

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in a laboratory setting
      - Familiarity with genetic analysis techniques
      - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
      - Strong organizational skills to manage documentation effectively
