      Plant Electrician & Instrumentation Supervisor

      This is a working supervisor position that is responsible for leading a highly skilled team compromising of electricians and instrument techs to ensure the maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in all areas of the brewery. Includes training new technicians, overseeing proper electrical design and start-up of complex equipment installations for all areas of the Brewery including Facilities.

      Essential Duties:

      • Direct supervision of a team; appraise performance, provide feedback, sets team priorities and goals, provides coaching, feedback, training and development
      • Develop annual budgets, monitor, and align with department initiatives
      • Lead team to resolve daily issues; schedule major rebuilds; ensure proper maintenance on all electrical systems; troubleshoots electrical / controls problems
      • Develop electrical safety procedures; specify necessary PPE for electrical safety; ensure policies and procedures are followed
      • Maintain Arc flash and coordination study for entire facility
      • Provides input into the design and implementation of new electrical / control systems; install and maintain existing systems
      • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and participating in the electrical on call schedule
      • Input, record, and coordinate EAM data
      • Create Electrical PM
      • Other duties as assigned


      Education/ Experience/Skills:

      • High School Diploma plus 4+ years’ experience and/or equivalent specialized training and education
      • Journeyman license required, Masters license a plus
      • Advanced (i.e., journey level) working knowledge, skills, and abilities in electrical matters
      • Advanced working knowledge, skills, and abilities in industrial construction/process, electrical controls, and instrumentation matters
      • Previous experience with sanitary process equipment desired
      • Advanced working experience in ARC Flash PPE and ratings, electrical PPE, and LOTO
      • Advanced knowledge in EM backup generators, ATS controls, UPS systems, and motor controls
      • Advanced skills and abilities related to controls / instrumentation matters

      Percent of Travel: 0-10%

      Working Conditions: Distribution Center, Production Areas, Construction Areas

      Physical Requirements:

      • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 88lbs., and carry 50 lbs. up to 100 feet
      • Ability to pull weights up to 150 lbs. and push force up to 81lbs
      • Maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and odd shaped tools
      • Ability to show fine motor dexterity
      • Demonstrate ability to climb, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead
      • Requires frequent, constant standing and walking

      Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

      Starting Salary Range: $68,000.00 - $82,000.00
