Job Description

- Ensure the statutory requirements for electrical safety complies with SANS and OHSA regulations of South Africa.
- Ensure that electrical safety protocols are met and maintained within the company.
- Responsible to ensure that the safety of the people and property is protected from electrical hazards.
- Perform and document periodic electrical safety checks on portable appliances, machinery, fixed installations and RCD's.
- Perform maintenance tasks to ensure electrical safety standards are maintained.
- Make provision for protective equipment such as RCD's.
- Create and update electrical plant network schematic.
- Responsible for installations and maintenance.
- Conduct troubleshooting.
- Responsible for repairs and replacement.
- Responsible for electrical safety - issue COC.
- Conduct preventative maintenance.
- Maintain documentations.
- N6.
- Trade certificate.
- Wireman's license for 3 phase installations.
- Registered for COC certification.
