- Identify, assess, and implement new packaging opportunities/projects.
- Collaborate with plant leadership, customers, and material suppliers.
- Ensure technical needs of manufacturing facilities are consistently met.
- Align cost-saving projects with manufacturing capabilities.
- Provide expertise in Aerosol and Liquid packaging spaces, including components such as cans, caps, valves, plastic bottles, trigger sprayers, and corrugated packaging.
- Support secondary components such as folding cartons and corrugated shippers.
- Author and review Packaging Engineering protocols and reports.
- Assist in the specification, acceptance, and validation of new products and packaging equipment.
- Support or lead R&D efforts in defining packaging materials for new products.
- Draft specifications and drawings for primary and secondary components.
- Implement world-class methods and standards with Value Streams.
- Provide technical skill and project support to all value streams.
- Support engineers and leadership for project work.
- Adhere to handbook policy and undertake other duties as assigned.

Plant Engineer
Overview
Support, identify, assess, and implement new packaging opportunities/projects through frequent interaction with our plant leadership team. Collaborate with customers and outside material suppliers utilizing your personal expertise, continuous improvement culture, and Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) processes. Ensure that the technical needs of the manufacturing facilities are consistently met. Align cost-saving projects with manufacturing capabilities to achieve plant and Operational Excellence goals.

Work Environment
The work environment includes frequent interaction with plant leadership teams and collaboration with customers and outside material suppliers. The role involves working in a continuous improvement culture and utilizing Rapid Improvement Event processes. The position requires adherence to handbook policy and may involve other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $52.00/hr.
