  Are you a Jack or Jackie of all Trades? Randstad is on the search for a Plant Maintenance Mechanic to handle ALL facility/plant maintenance in a facility in Stockton, CA. This position is for someone who can work independently in a small shop. Keep the facility and all machines and vehicles up to date with repairs and general maintenance. Are you a self starter?   Responsibilities
  
  
  • Prioritize and perform planned and unplanned maintenance.
  • Inspect all equipment in accordance with the plant’s routine schedule.
  • Utilize safe work practices including but not limited to lock out/tag out, electrical safety, stored energy awareness, fall protection, wearing of PPE, and hazardous/gaseous material handling.
  • Minimize plant downtime through optimum use of PM program and best practices.
  • Maintain the facility through good housekeeping practices, including but not limited to, painting,corrosion control, building maintenance, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date maintenance records.
  • Utilize good housekeeping practices for a clean, organized shop and parts storage area.
  • Shop spare parts and supplies and contractors to obtain best pricing considering quality, service, and equipment specifications.
  • Actively participate in regular maintenance meetings with the Plant Management
  • Obtain quotes from contractors and monitor contractors’ performance as it applies to, safety, quality, appearance, reliability, and cost.
  • Maintain backup inventory of all critical parts
