      United Dairy Farmers is looking for a full-time Plant Maintenance Electrician (Industrial/Manufacturing) for 1st shift (7:00am - 3:20pm) at our ice cream production plant in Norwood. As part of the UDF Maintenance team, you will support company-wide operations by performing a wide range of duties which include installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining the facility and processing equipment, helping to ensure that the equipment and systems can deliver at expected efficiency.

      Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

      • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a production manufacturing facility. Detect any malfunction of equipment, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems, performing the repair to ensure high reliability.
      • Disassemble defective machinery and equipment, install new or repaired parts Perform regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, improvements and related project work on production equipment, facility and utility systems in accordance with maintenance standards, documenting completed work and the conditions found and analysis, utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Willingness to work off shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed and in emergency situations Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out. Understanding of SOP's (Standard Operation Procedures) as they are written for the maintenance department and follow them.
