      Req#: 4919301

      Performs work of considerable difficulty in the maintenance and repair of water distribution and sewer systems and the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning (A/C), refrigeration, and coolant systems. Work is performed under minimal supervision with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Relies on experience to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures.

      High school diploma or GED. Four (4) or more years’ experience in a mechanical or plumbing field; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

      Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. A journeyman’s license in A/C refrigeration is preferred.

      In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
