Masters in Metallurgy with 7-10 Years of experience
A minimum of 10 years experience in a metallurgical process industry preferably in a bearing manufacturing industry with specific work experience in heat treatment and an exposure to Quality Management System e.g QS-9000/ ISO 9001
Roles & Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance to specified steel quality level as outlined in the Corporate Standards through periodic steel source audits.Ensuring metallurgical process checks for an effective heat treatment process control as specified in the Corporate Standard.
Ensuring finished product physical / metallurgical characteristic as defined in the Corporate Inspection Standard requirement.
Extending metallurgical support for Vendor Quality Advancement.
Ensuring control of process fluids during grinding & honing operation.
Bearing failure analysis and implementation of appropriate CAPA.
