Job Description:
Assists with developing and implementing business strategy through platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment including identifying customer need, designing and validating concepts, developing business cases, assisting with vendor negotiations and relationships, partnering with technology to analyze and write Business and Functional Requirements documentation, managing to a budget SME in coordinating and developing communications with Marketing and Training, coordinating business and Beta testers, and implementing deliverables. Maintains a thorough knowledge of systems and operations processes for platform supported. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise for platform functionality and resolving chronic service delivery or platform issues identified by client service/support organizations. Works closely with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance Risk, and external suppliers/vendors.The role is part of the Enterprise Credit Analytics and Transformation Strategy (ECATS) team with a focus on supporting commercial credit processes and platforms to enable onboarding to target state platforms and tools. The Process Design Consultant partners with business subject matter experts, Product Owners/Mangers, Change Management and Technology to support adoption of target state design and platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Partners with platform users to understand and document platform requirements.
• Works with design teams and technology to design technology/people/process to achieve user defined requirements.
• Defines solutions that are highly efficient and effective, balancing customization and consistency optimally.
• Holds technology accountable for sustainable and flexibly architecture that can adapt with users. requirements and credit environment evolution
• Understands the end-to-end platform functionality and associated user policies/procedures.
• With that end-to-end knowledge, defines/documents/executes robust end-to-end testing to ensure highest quality production releases.
• Meeting end user expectations in a manner that is operationally excellent, managing Bank risks, and setting us up for near- and long-term success.
• Candidate will either have or gain proficiency with regulatory and policy requirements within the end to end underwriting process.
• Candidate will either have or gain proficiency with current state underwriting, monitoring and fulfillment applications.
• Supports the LOB onboarding strategy and content delivery for business adoption of new technology.Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in Financial Services Industry
• Interest in learning new platforms and technologies
• Ability to build resources to support target state platforms for end-user consumption
• Ability to create and maintain partnerships with multiple stakeholders
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate vertically and horizontally and to distill complex subject matter into concise summaries and recommendations
• Candidate must be detail oriented and demonstrate a high regard for operational excellence
• Self-starter who is comfortable operating independently in an ambiguous environment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in a Credit, Credit Operations, or Transformation/Strategy Role
• Ability to create and deliver role-based training content, exercises and case studies for line of business users migrating to target state platforms
• Experience with project based work and/or delivering projects
