      We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineering Manager to design, build, and scale our DevOps / Hybrid-Infrastructure and Software Engineering capabilities. You will drive strategy, execution, and adoption of platform initiatives, ensuring reliability, security, and developer productivity across the organization.

      You will also be a key contributor in the technical architecture and development related activities related to future farms.

      Key Responsibilities
      • Network & DevOps
        • Monitor, optimize, and secure hybrid-cloud infrastructure in an IT / OT Environment
        • Working with Infrastructure Team in network segmentation and acess
        • Lead efforts around observability, logging, and monitoring to ensure uptime and performance.
        • Implementing with Infrastructure as Code
        • Architect, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration.
        • Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment.
      • Functional
        • Ability to people manage, but in a “player/coach” type role allocating time between technical implementation and unblocking tasks for the team
        • Wear multiple hats to help IT in a cross-section of items where needed
        • Partner with other departments to design and deploy critical systems
        • Challenge yourself and your peers to always improve
        • Hands-On Experience

      Responsibilities in Support
      • Full Stack Development
        • Contribute to backend APIs, data services, and frontend integrations.
        • Design and build horizontally scalable components within a new major platform that the team is developing.
        • Apply strong coding practices and conduct reviews where necessary.

      Qualifications
      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
      • 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Full Stack Development, or related roles with 2+ years in People Management.
      • Proven expertise with CI/CD, hybrid-cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools.
      • Strong programming skills.
      • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
      • Ability to travel and serve as on-call

      • Programming: Git, Typescript, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell
      • Frameworks/Libraries: React, AntD, Apollo/GraphQL, Express, Cypress, Redux/Saga
      • Big Data: Kafka, Spark, Fabric, Power BI, Notebooks (Jupyter), Timescale DB

      Nice to Have
      • Data Engineering Experience
      • Manufacturing Industry Experience
      • Experience with Inductive Automation, Python, Unified Name Space, and MQTT

      Location
      Remote with Travel
