Plumber II FT Days Position Summary
Maintains building plumbing fixtures and systems.
Facilitates repairs, replacement and upgrades to all plumbing systems to ensure a safe and functional facility.
Responsibilities
Under general direction, inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas and drainage systems of the hospital.
Installs new plumbing system components, faucets, sinks, toilets, valves, etc.
Performs other related tasks to the maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of plumbing/piping systems and components.
May provide assistance to other maintenance personnel in performing repair and service functions.
At management’s discretion, performs other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs.
THE PLUMBER II FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field
Experience
Required: Three years of progressive experience with a plumbing or construction company or experience in a commercial or hospital service environment.
Certifications
Required: Journeyman plumbers license
