- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
- Installs, repairs & maintains plumbing systems at UTHET buildings.
- Repairs and maintains medical gas systems.
- Performs general mechanic work as required.
- Performs preventive maintenance on fire sprinkler system.
- Provides great customer service.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Five (5) years of experience in plumbing and/or building maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License (required).
- Must be able to meet qualifications to drive UTHET vehicles
- Completion of an apprenticeship program in plumbing preferred
- Experience working with copper pipe, PVC pipe, threaded pipe, and tubing preferred.
- Hospital experience very desirable.
- Familiarity with City of Tyler building codes and NFPA 99 preferred.
