Job Summary:

The PM Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents of the Vista Park Retirement Community. This position requires a high level of culinary skill and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
• Ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
• Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Assist with menu planning and development
• Train and supervise kitchen staff

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook in a restaurant or institutional setting
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
