Bachelor's Degree required.
Position requires 10 years or more of direct experience
8 or more years working within a PMO
Position requires 3 years of more of experience with EHR systems *
Position requires 2 years or more of experience working with Epic Application Modules
Experience with software systems’ implementation lifecycle
Experience in Waterfall project management methodology or, Agile methodology experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and other subject matter experts
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to exercise sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude with a deep commitment to customer satisfaction
PMP Certification required
CSM Certification a plus

40Summary:
As a PMO Manager at Cook Children’s, you will be a contributing IT professional within the Project Management family. The PMO Manager plays a critical role in the coordination and completion of IT projects within the Cook Children’s Health Care System. The PMO Manager is a responsible for program, portfolio, and project management as the needs of the organization requires. In addition to this, the PMO Manager has direct management responsibilities over project managers that report to them. Ensuring that their project managers are following PMO processes as adopted by the organization. The PMO Manager will work closely with other IT teams and operational stakeholders to ensure programs and projects are delivered completely within scope and on time. The PMO Manager must have excellent organization and communication skills and have experience in working with team members of different groups to achieve quality results in a timely manner. Additionally, the PMO Manager are expected to lead and complete high visibility internal process improvement initiatives as assigned.
